La Femme Lens was born from the first-generation experience - from creators who grew up without access to the industry resources, mentorship and pathways that others take for granted. This collective began as a dream to build a space where learning, collaboration and care are the foundation of how we grow together.

We built independent productions led by femme and non-binary filmmakers, hosted accessible workshops, shared resources and opened doors for members to step into new creative roles with confidence. And just as importantly, we prioritized our well-being. We encourage rest, self-care, wellness practices and sustainable creative habits because thriving artists make a powerful impact.
